About
our Company

My name is Natalie Ferguson, and I’m an ABC Certified Prosthetist Orthotist and the owner of Dogtown • Venice Prosthetics and Orthotics. With nearly a decade of experience specializing in pediatric and young adult care, I’ve supported patients with cerebral palsy, developmental delays, hypotonia, autism, scoliosis, clubfoot, arthrogryposis, spina bifida, and more.

Working closely with physicians at UCLA, Orthopaedic Institute for Children, and Adventist Health, I take a patient-centered, team-based approach to every person’s care. My passion is helping patients move with confidence, and I believe that happens when they have a supportive circle around them.  Parent and caregiver education is of the utmost importance; it is essential so that all involved feel confident in the management of our orthotic or prosthetic devices.  As the parent of a child with a rare genetic disorder and neurodiversity, I know first-hand what it means to be overwhelmed with medical appointments.  I strive to be the kind of practitioner that truly listens and advocates for your family, one that your child actually wants to visit!

I’ve presented at both local and national conferences on the role of bracing in cerebral palsy and have served as a guest lecturer for the West Coast University Doctor of Physical Therapy program and UCLA’s graduate seminar on Emerging Issues in Neurodiversity.

Through our fully mobile, concierge-style practice, Dogtown VPO brings collaborative, high-quality care directly to the environment where clients feel most comfortable.  I founded this practice with a simple philosophy: to make exceptional care more fun and less stressful for families.  This includes care for our four-legged family members, whether they need prosthetics, orthotics, or doggy wheelchairs.

Above all, I believe in celebrating small victories, empowering caregivers, and helping kids and young adults build confidence in their movement, one step at a time.

A Note About Our Concierge Model

Dogtown • Venice Prosthetics and Orthotics operates as a concierge, out-of-network provider. This means no rushed appointments or clinic stress. Instead, you receive fully mobile, one-on-one care with extended time, flexibility, and direct communication. We meet you where you are (literally!), collaborate with your physician and therapy teams, and provide thoughtful, thorough follow-ups designed around real-world needs.
